The Chippewa Area History Center and Chippewa Falls Museum of Industry and Technology announced their plans to jointly celebrate what would have been Seymour Cray’s 100^th birthday on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The open house at both museums will take place from noon until 4pm. Snacks, refreshments, and games will be available. Exhibits will be available at both locations, with tours of the Cray-centered exhibits at CFMIT. The organizations have been collaborating with The National Museum of Computing in Bletchley Park, UK. A roundtable Q&A discussion with former employees and colleagues will take place in the Diamond Classroom at the Chippewa Area History Center at 3pm.

Visitors are invited to visit both institutions to learn about the life and impact of Seymour Cray. No admission will be charged, but donations are encouraged.
